Stretch the boundaries of brickwork
Thin Tech Plus® is an engineered, ventilated, medium-weight façade system featuring authentic clay brick facings, without the weight and space restrictions associated with traditional full brick veneer. Measuring in at 42mm, Thin Tech Plus provides a versatile way to apply face brick to any project, replacing fibre cement, wood, metal and aluminium cladding.
How it works
Thin Tech Plus consists of large-format, ZAM®-coated, ribbed steel sheets. The sheets mechanically support and space thin clay brick facings with specifically designed support hooks. Each Thin Tech Plus facing and corner facing is grooved on the top and bottom for fast and secure installation, slotting into place with a 10mm horizontal mortar bed. To finish off, mortar is pointed into the joints to fully encase the Thin Tech Plus facings, resulting in composite action between the brick facings, mortar, and the panel.

- Thin Tech Plus is a medium-weight system, weighing 49 kg/m², which is approximately one-third the weight of full brick veneer (120-140kg/m²). Lighter weight means easier handling, faster installation, improved site safety, and better performance on sites with soil or structural load limits.
- Speed of installation is 3–5× faster than traditional brickwork thanks to its panel-based system. Bricks and mortar are laid from the top down, allowing flexible start points, reduced scaffold time, and streamlined installation across the site.
- Efficiencies eliminate the need for brick ties, shelf angles, and lintels, reducing labour, scaffold, and transport costs. With fewer materials, less mortar, and flexible installation by builders or bricklayers, it enables faster build times and smaller crews, lowering overall project expenses.
- Durable and low-maintenance, Thin Tech Plus uses genuine clay brick facings that offer a colour-fast finish and require only an annual rinse with clean water. Completely non-combustible with a fire resistance rating of FRR -/120/60, it delivers cleaner finishes, reduced mortar use, and long-term performance.
- Thinner wall construction at just 132 mm total thickness maximises internal floor area, increasing liveable space without compromising performance.
